Thame Bowls Club members on tour in 2009...
The mid-week game against The Oxford Bowls Club was cancelled by them.

The Men's League team had a good win at home against South Oxford on Thursday winning on the two rinks skipped by Graham Penn and Paul Heafey and narrowly losing on the other two skipped by George Andrews and Vic Brooks. Thame won by the overall score of 69 shots to 62 to keep up their hopes of surviving in Div. 2 of the Oxfordshire Bowls League.

Thame sent a Men's team to Hagbourne on Saturday to play a 5 Triples match but Hagbourne proved far to strong for the Thame travellers and they lost on all 5 Rinks.

The Purser Cup on Sunday was enjoyed by 6 Triples of players and was won by the team skipped by Marthie Du Preez ably assisted by John Walker and Jim Tite.
