It was a wonderful day last Sunday (4 September 2016) when 22 blind bowlers used our green and played a competition over 5 games.
Keith Wright organised all the helpers and markers from our club as well as supplying all the medals for those who played. He has asked me to thank, most sincerely, all those who gave up their time to mark and help all the bowlers last Sunday. He says, and I completely agree with him, that you all did a wonderful job and that you can all be very proud of yourselves.
I would also add my thanks to all of our members and friends who helped out in the kitchen and behind the bar and together with the markers and helpers made it such a successful and memorable day. I felt very proud to be a member of Thame Bowls Club.
