Thame ladies played Prince Risborough ladies at home on Wednesday June 10th.
Princes Risborough could only field two rinks and Thame won the captains rink by 19-12.
The other rink captained for the first time by Pauline Prangle were 17 all on the 15th end but faded to lose by 12-17.
So although we won one rink and lost one rink we won overall by 31-29.
Another win for the ladies. Well done!

On Thursday 18th June the ladies played away against Aylesbury Town. There were three rinks with, again, strong teams from Thame. Two rinks won their matches convincingly by 22-9 and 22-12. These games aren’t won easily, and Thame had to work hard in the heat. The ladies on rink 4 played well but were up against an accomplished county bowler. They did, however, manage a creditable 14-21 score. Another overall win, ladies. Well done and thank you for hanging on in there!

Thame’s men played against Witney Town B at home and in a keenly contested match went down by 58 shots to 67. This was their first defeat of the season and they only received one league point against Witney’s five with the winning rink played by Geoff Roynon, Keith Brooks, David Hickman and skip Ray Plested 19-13.
Thame retain their top spot in the League but both Witney and Woodstock have reduced their lead to 2.5 points and 4 points respectively.
